## Installing

### macOS

1. Open the `.dmg` and drag GameClip to Applications. One universal build runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel.
2. Open it and paste your licence key (`GC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX`).
3. Check a download with `shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/GameClip-1.0.0-universal.dmg`; it should print the SHA-256 above.

### Windows

1. Run the installer and follow the steps. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
2. Open GameClip from the Start menu and paste your licence key.
3. Check a download in PowerShell with `Get-FileHash .\GameClip-1.0.0-x64-setup.exe`.

## Updates

The app checks a signed update feed and shows an Update button when a new version is out. Nothing installs without your click.
