## Questions.

### What are the system requirements?

macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon or Intel, or Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). A dedicated or recent integrated GPU makes analysis and export much faster: GameClip uses your GPU's video encoder (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel or Apple) and runs captions on the GPU when it can. Long VODs need free disk space for the low-resolution proxies GameClip makes for preview.

### Can I import several files and a separate webcam?

Yes. Add as many gameplay files as you like; GameClip orders them by creation date and you can drag to reorder. Add your webcam files too and a Sync timeline opens with both waveforms, so you drag each webcam file into place. A single recording with the webcam baked in works as well: draw the webcam area once.

### What is the difference between Fit and Cover?

Both turn a 16:9 clip into a 9:16 vertical. Fit keeps the whole frame and fills the top and bottom with a blurred, zoomed copy of the same video. Cover crops the center to fill the screen, and you can move the crop per clip. Pick one for the session and change it on any clip.

### Does it work with OBS recordings?

Yes. OBS, NVIDIA ShadowPlay, AMD ReLive, the Xbox Game Bar and other recorders save normal video files (MP4, MKV, MOV), and GameClip imports them. Recording with your webcam and mic on separate tracks or files gives GameClip more to work with.

### Which languages do captions support?

Captions are transcribed on your computer with a Whisper speech model, which handles dozens of languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese and Korean. Choose Fast, Balanced or Accurate; you can fix any word afterwards and the timing follows.

### Do I need to be online?

For AI Director, yes: it runs on our server. The app also checks your key on launch, every 15 minutes and before each analysis and export, so AI Director subscribers need a connection. A Lifetime key can keep working offline for up to 30 days between checks. Captions, detection, editing and export run on your computer.

### What are credits?

Credits pay for AI Director. One credit covers one started hour of gameplay analyzed, so a 3-hour VOD uses 3. The AI Director plan includes 20 credits a month, reset on each renewal (unused ones don't roll over). Need more? Buy a pack in your account; pack credits don't expire. Lifetime keys can buy packs too.

### What happens if I cancel?

Cancelling the AI Director trial or subscription in your account ends access to the app right away: the key stops working on its next check and the app goes back to the activation screen. Your projects and exports stay on your computer. You are not charged again.

### Can I move my licence to a new PC?

Yes. A key works on one computer at a time. Sign in at gameclip.io/account, press Release this PC, then activate the key on the new one.

### Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days. Request it yourself in your account: Lifetime within 14 days of buying, AI Director within 14 days of your first payment after the trial. The money goes back through Stripe at once and the key is revoked.

### Is there a Mac version?

Yes. GameClip runs on macOS 13 or later, as one universal download for Apple silicon and Intel, and on Windows 10 and 11. One key works on either, on one computer at a time.
